2011 was the maiden vintage for Vincent & Sophie Guizards Domaine, named after a small, nearby church; Eglise Saint Sylvestre des Vrouses de Montcalmès. They have 6 hectares of established vines in the much lauded Launguedoc region of Terrasses du Larzac, a term coined by Olivier Julien of the iconic Mas Julien. An estate Vincent gained valuable experience at before working with his cousin at Domaine de Montcalmès for seven years.
