Stephane Sérol is the fifth generation at the helm of this family estate located close to the source of the Loire river in France’s heartland. Here they specialise in mouth-wateringly delicious gamay. The Côte Roannaise sits on a sandy, granitic soil which loves this grape variety, it is slightly cooler than that of it’s neighbour Beaujolais, generally starting harvest a week later.
