The Domaine de Chevilly is located at Quincy, about 10 miles south west of Sancerre. The 6.5 hectare vineyard is planted solely with Sauvignon Blanc. The average age of vines is 25 years with some 40 year old parcels. The soil is sand and gravel which gives the wine a minerally character with citrus flavours and flintstone notes. We think that this is one of the best wines from the appellation.
